Friday’s Feelings ~Her Little Grin~

My project for this “Friday’s Feelings” is of my daughter Maddy at the petting zoo.  She was just tickled.  I love this picture of her.  While once again although not deep journaling it is journaling that fits the mood and does totally represent the words that go through my mind with her all the time.  She is my little munchkin who is full of mischief (especially now!) and spunk.

So my “Friday’s Feelings” spin is using letter stickers for just some of the journaling words.  I try to pick the happy words, the ones that stand out to me the most and then pick the balancing words (the ones that balance the happy words) as I don’t want the words to all line up and create block journaling.

I am loving the yellow and the blue together….although Spring is right around the corner, the color combo makes me feel as if it is here.

I used the Bewitching paper from the Fascinating line, the yellow gingham makes me just want to hug it (If you know me at all, you know that I am a gingham lover) as my base…so already off to a good start!

I also used the Sprited paper, the border and letters from the sticker books all from the Fetching line.  I mixed in the press ons , chipboard elements and a fabric brad from the Captivating line.   The yellow letters are Fashion Script yellow alphabet stickers and the yellow flower (oh boy, did I EVER have to think about using this one…as the flowers are a for sure hoarding item ) is from the Petals Fabric Flowers that are in the Captivating line.

I hope this layout brings a little grin to your face and maybe you will be inspired to create some journaling using your handwriting mixed with letter stickers.

Have a great day,

Katie
