Another Tasty Tuesday!
June 1, 2009 by Danielle
Good morning! It’s time for Tasty Tuesday and I’ve cooked up a quick and easy project for you today! How about some really cute treat cups for your next party or treat to bring to your child’s classroom? These were so easy and inexpensive to make.
All you need are mini cupcake wrappers from the grocery store, any sort of candy to fill them with (I used Twizzler licorice pieces here), lollipop sticks from the craft supply store and one sheet of Pink Paislee’s super cute Sweet Nothings paper from the Sweet Cakes collection. You may also dress them up with cut outs from the Sweet Cakes postcards as I did here with the cherries if you wish!
Simply cut out the circles from the Sweet Nothings paper and tape them onto the lollipop sticks, fill the cupcake wrappers with candy/licorice and tuck the sticks in! What could be easier! Did you know you can make 30 of these with one sheet of Sweet Nothings paper?
These would also be adorable to dress up a birthday party table with! To make the curly papers for a festive touch to your table, just cut 1/2 inch wide strips of the Sweet Cakes papers and wrap them around a pencil. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
