“Boo” Welcome to Halloween

September 28, 2009 by admin

Well another month gone, and not much longer before Christmas is here, but there are two more fun events to come Halloween and Thanks Giving, so with the new Twilight Collection from Pink Paislee I decided to do something cute and fun for Halloween a “BOO” Welcome Project.

I first cut a piece of wood 9cm wide x 20 cm Long which I would use for the base, I then covered the top of the wood with the Twilight Horizon Pattern Paper and also a chipboard square 20 x 20cm wide which I glued to the back of the wood base.

I also bought 3 wood Alphabets, a 6cm “B” and “O” and a 20cm large “O”, I painted the edges in black and then covered them with Twilight Dusk and Twilight Sunset and sanded.  Then I stuck the large “O” to the middle of the base as the main feature to the project.

I also stuck the Small “B” and “O” to the Large “O” as you can see by the bottom photo.

I also cut out the black spooky trees, grave stones and birds from Twilight Night Fall pattern paper which made fun embellishments. I also used the Twilight Post Cards pattern paper for the bats etc., and Expression Glitter Alphabets “Limeade” for the Welcome and the stars.

I created a cute little “Spooky House” with a triangle and a weird shaped rectangle lol !! and covered with some leftover Twilight pattern paper. I used a Twilight “Bella Brad” for the centre of the triangle, and the ghost was created from the Twilight “Patches”.

A fun project that I just adore, and can’t wait to use, I hope you have fun with any projects you decide to create for Halloween, or maybe you would love to give this ago, enjoy.

Thanks so much.
