    Love the glitter!! Beautiful colors!
We decorate just a little…some white icicle lights and green/red large Christmas ornaments hanging in the entry…

  2. Kate Walsh on December 10th, 2009 10:31 am

Ooh day 10 already. No I don’t decorate the outside but I put the tree by the window so it can be seen from the outside!

  3. tanisharenee on December 10th, 2009 10:33 am

no outdoor lights…I’d like to have them, i just don’t feel like putting them up or taking them down. I stick to decorating the inside only…for now!

    Lovin’ that glitter!!

  4. Georgia on December 10th, 2009 10:36 am

I keep the outside of the house very simple. I put up a lighted nativity on one side of the lawn. After Christmas, I put out a lighted snowman and snowflakes hand in all the front windows. This helps me to be a little happier in January to fight the winter blues.

  5. Heather on December 10th, 2009 10:37 am

Wow this keeps getting better and better! We love lights at our house but especially blow UPS! We aren’t as advanced as the griswolds but we try our best!

  6. Tina S. on December 10th, 2009 10:39 am

    It just keeps getting better!!!

  7. Kerry on December 10th, 2009 10:39 am

If I had one of those machines which fired the lights up onto the house, I’d consider having them. Sadly, I don’t think our house is pretty enough (it’s quite square with a flat roof), even if it were adorned with Christmas lights.
P.S.What fantastic prizes! I’ve got everything crossed

  8. Tina S. on December 10th, 2009 10:41 am

Oh, I forgot! We don’t decorate the outside of our house at all and haven’t decorated inside since our oldest daughter was killed…just too many memories. I do photograph and scrapbook Christmas at grandma’s house, though.

  9. sandra elsey on December 10th, 2009 10:41 am

Oh yeah we are a Griswold house! My hubby starts decorating the day after Thanksgiving! We love lots of bling!

  10. sandra elsey on December 10th, 2009 10:42 am

Bring on the bling! We start decorating the day after Thanksgiving!

  11. Wendy Goodman on December 10th, 2009 10:44 am

Yes, lots of twinkle lights on our house! Reindeer in the front yard, lots of lights on the Christmas tree, and wreaths everywhere!

  12. Lady Grace on December 10th, 2009 10:44 am

Those glitters are perfect for the collection! YUMMY!

Here in the Philippines, we start decorating as early as October. I am one of those who loves decorations and I have plaenty of it outside than inside my house

  13. Laina Millson on December 10th, 2009 10:45 am

    Love the bling! :)
We decorate, but not over the top like the Griswalds, try to save a little energy!

  14. Diana Fisher on December 10th, 2009 10:51 am

Love the stixs!!! In the past we have put up lights, but this year we skipped it.

  15. Stacy on December 10th, 2009 10:55 am

My two year old is all about Christmas this year so I have put up some lights and a wreath on our front door. Focused more on the inside this year. Next year will do more outside. What a fan-tabulous prize pack! Good luck everyone!

    Stacy

  16. Janine Rachau on December 10th, 2009 10:55 am

Fun! Sinnce our dog has tried to chew the wires, we stopped the lights outside, and just put candles in the windows.

  17. Veronica on December 10th, 2009 10:56 am

We decorate our family room. No outside lights…but our kiddos keep begging for them….maybe next year!

  18. taram30 on December 10th, 2009 10:56 am

I love that movie, we’re not quite that extreme but we do have lights up along the front of the house and this year we added two lighted little deer. They are so cute.

  19. Heather Robertson on December 10th, 2009 10:56 am

we wrap our balcony inside with white lights to banish the dark days.

  20. Cassie on December 10th, 2009 10:58 am

Oh yes. I tried to fight the outside lights. I tried to hide them, he found them. I tried to stall, he doesn’t buy my shenanigans. We have a santa and reindeer and trees and lights and jeeeeez…I have to wear my sunglasses at night. AND this year, we upgraded to LED lights…Oh My Heck…those boogers are bright!!

  21. Linda on December 10th, 2009 10:58 am

I love to decorate the outside of the house, but I like to do it simply and with beautiful decorations. I also put lights around shelfs and bookcases with lots of little wreaths and pine on the inside. It helps to make such a festive and fun atmosphere.

  22. Maria S on December 10th, 2009 10:59 am

Our house is kept pretty simple. A few trees decorated, a little on our porch and some light up santas. No Griswolds here. :)

  23. Brittney Aldous on December 10th, 2009 10:59 am

    Glitter?! I’m in love!

As for outdoor lights, we don’t have any. If I was brave enough to get up on a ladder, I’d do it myself. Still not sure why I can’t get the DSO to put some up…

  24. Lisette Gibbons on December 10th, 2009 10:59 am

I do love to decorate on the outside, but only in one colour. This year we’ve just got icicle lights, but I would love some wreaths as well.

  25. Dawne Carlisle on December 10th, 2009 11:00 am

Yes… my sweet husband went outside in 14 degree weather yesterday to hang the outside lights! How wonderful is he?!

  26. Tanya Rudd on December 10th, 2009 11:00 am

We light up our house, and we make sure to have Frosty the Snowman on our porch too, my little girls adore seeing them all lit up at night. It makes there Daddy smile every time he hears them say “Wow!”. We then tackle the lighting inside the house, which makes the girls gasp out another “Wow!”. What a gift to have our little ones remind us of the simple things in life.
    Hugs and Happy 10th day,
    Tanya

  27. janis on December 10th, 2009 11:00 am

no outdoor lights for us - - had a scare a few years back when the lights we put up almost caused a fire.

i’m interested in the pixie stix. haven’t seen one in our lss,so i do hope i’ll get lucky on the 10th day of christmas!

  28. Terri on December 10th, 2009 11:02 am

We do not have any lights this year, but usually have some. Our neighbors, have a Griswold thing going on. 10,000 lights synced to music, our street has been very popular this year.

  29. Bridget on December 10th, 2009 11:04 am

No Griswold’s here, I’m too busy crafting to decorate ;). I’m a glitter-a-holic so I’m really really crossing my fingers.

  30. Deanna M on December 10th, 2009 11:05 am

love that movie! We don’t decorate a lot, but we have wreaths and “candles” in the windows. That’s about it.

  31. JennL on December 10th, 2009 11:06 am

We put up white lights around the porch and roof…festive but not too Griswold-ish.

  32. Nicole Drewniak on December 10th, 2009 11:08 am

We are Totally the Griswold’s!! My friend even teases me about it! LOL

  33. Angela Fehr on December 10th, 2009 11:08 am

We are pretty low key with decorating this year - got last year’s Christmas lights taken down in September and haven’t had the energy to put them up again! I love to decorate indoors though - this year our rule was only handmade ornaments on the tree, and it’s still fully decorated!

  34. Susan Serigny on December 10th, 2009 11:09 am

We put a wreath on the front door and that’s it. Electricity costs too much as there’s rarely a month in Louisiana that we don’t use the air conditioning at least part of the time!

  35. Jessica Griffin on December 10th, 2009 11:09 am

This is our first year in a house, and the first thing that got lots this year… the garage! That’s it. :) We’ve strung lights around the garage door. But we do have lights in every livingroom window. The kids love it. It’s fun to watch Christmas movies with just the Christmas lights on. Really calms everyone down!

PS: TEN TUBES OF GLITTER… AMAZING!!

  36. Susan on December 10th, 2009 11:10 am

The Griswolds have nothing on us!! My husband is the Tim Taylor of the neighborhood. Lights everywhere, inflatables on the lawn and statues on the roof. He wants our house to be seen from space!!

Love everything…wants everything. It’s my Christmas wish!!

  37. Brittany Anderson on December 10th, 2009 11:10 am

10 Pixee Sticks!! Oh the possibilities.. No lights outside, our house is so old it doesn’t have an electrical outlet outdoors..crazy I know! But, the inside is fully decorated!! I try to make a new Christmas craft each year..this year, Christmas countdown blocks with the Tinsel Town and Enchanting lines!!

  38. karen on December 10th, 2009 11:12 am

mmmmm glitter!!!!! no decorations outside yet! but i still have hope :)

  39. Katarina on December 10th, 2009 11:12 am

    WOW PIXIESTIX… LOVE LOVE LOVE!
We dont do lots of outdoorligthing, we do some light decorations in the windows, and the christmastree, and lots of candles indoors instead.

    //Katarina

  40. Tiffany on December 10th, 2009 11:13 am

We don’t decorate the outside, but we do go to town on the inside, we have 2 trees and tons of lights.

  41. Kathleen Kraft on December 10th, 2009 11:14 am

Definitely not a griswold. I am a light purist…I love love love white lights…and no inflatable santas or reindeer for me! Happy Happy!

  42. Jocelyne on December 10th, 2009 11:14 am

OMG!!! That is an amazing package!! I should be so lucky to have a prize like that.

  43. Alyssa M on December 10th, 2009 11:15 am

Decorations? What’s that? LOL We put up icicle lights outside and a tree inside. That’s about it. We keep it pretty simple.

  44. Tracey on December 10th, 2009 11:16 am

Oooh, Pixee Stix! Love those fabulous tubes of glittery fun!! This package of goodies is so awesome!! Thanks for another chance to win!!

Oh, and as for your question - no Griswald action here. We just decorate the inside. I do love to look at the houses all done up though. CHristmas lights are beautiful!!

  45. Rita on December 10th, 2009 11:20 am

    Love all the goodies!
We docorate the front yard and front of our house. I always put greenery around the porch with white lights and red bows. I have two lighted reindeer and this year I add a few more lighted ornamanets and a lighted memorial tree in memory of my son.

  46. Ylona on December 10th, 2009 11:21 am

I don’t decorate the outside of my house, because I live in an appartement. Just a wreath on my front door. And sadly this year I don’t even have room for a tree in my house (my livingroom is too small). But I have some little Christmas decoratings in the livingroom.

  47. Linda E on December 10th, 2009 11:21 am

I’m all about the classic look. We have white icicle lights, wreaths in the windows and on the door and white lights on the bushes.

  48. Susan on December 10th, 2009 11:23 am

So not a Griswald house, just lighted swags and bows here. This package of goodies just gets better everyday, I can hardly believe my eyes!

  49. Andrea Ancich on December 10th, 2009 11:24 am

Hard to decorate the outside of my place living in an apt.
my parents put up some lights… but not a whole lot…

    love the glittery goodness!

  50. Rachel S on December 10th, 2009 11:25 am

We don’t decorate the outside very much. Just some red lights around a post by my red front door. But we love driving around and admiring everyone else’s homes that are all decked out.

  51. hanna on December 10th, 2009 11:26 am

my husband goes outside to hang lights - it scares me to death so I hide inside the house until they are done.

  52. Mel on December 10th, 2009 11:26 am

No, I’m not Clark….I’m lucky to get a few decorations up before Christmas!

  53. Melinda on December 10th, 2009 11:28 am

Melinda Davies - My husband and I have only been married for a year so we don’t have a lot of stuff. We inherited a Christmas tree from his great uncle and it looks quite funny because there is no top for it. We put all of the branches in the middle pole and found out that it looks more like a trapezoid than a triangle. There is no place for us to put a star at the top! It was really funny for us. We have a little nativity scene and some wooden blocks that say Merry Christmas. Hopefully we will be more festive next year.

  54. serena on December 10th, 2009 11:31 am

unfortunately my husband is rather scroogish and I am afraid of heights so we don’t deck the house out with lights everywhere. I do however decorate my front porch and evergreen trees with lights (the places I can reach without a ladder! lol)

  55. Erika Taylor on December 10th, 2009 11:34 am

We just do a few things like icicle lights, wreaths and snowball luminaries.

  56. Betsy on December 10th, 2009 11:34 am

My version is all on the inside of the house. Lots of ornaments and lights, snowmen and Santas everywhere. And of course a wreath on the door.

  57. carriegel on December 10th, 2009 11:34 am

No, we don’t light up the outside of our house. I like looking at other people’s lights though.

  58. Becky T. on December 10th, 2009 11:34 am

    OOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo glitter sticks! Yummy!!!! :-)

  59. Amy H on December 10th, 2009 11:36 am

We love the Griswold’s - a tradition movie for my hubby and me! So funny! We light up the outside of our home but we don’t go overboard - we leave that to our friendly neighbors down the street! But we love to decorate inside, a lot! ;)

  60. Julie Overby on December 10th, 2009 11:36 am

Love me some glitter!! ; )

How funny…no, we don’t over due it but we do have on colorful strand of lights on the outside of the house. Now inside, that’s another story! LOL

  61. Peggy Nadini on December 10th, 2009 11:37 am

No Griswold’s here. I’ve barely had time to put up the tree!

  62. Cherie on December 10th, 2009 11:37 am

We’re definitely like the Griswold’s! LOL We have about 30,000 lights this year with 120 channels of computer automation…..Which means the lights “dance” to the music while viewers listen to the music on their car radio.

  63. Jenny Matlock on December 10th, 2009 11:39 am

OK, we live by the Griswold’s. They take most of the power for our street up but we do our part. I suspect we have about 10,000 lights strung, some flickering candlesticks on either side of the walkway.

But the Griswolds now have added Mannheim Steamroller music animated their millions of lights so we go outside and dance in the street under the stars. Our granddaughters stand in the cul de sac and twirl, entranced by the show.

And I am entranced by this giveaway and ho-ho-hoping you pick me!

    Thanks for the fun!

  64. Lara Miller on December 10th, 2009 11:42 am

    Glitter is GOOD!!!
We haven’t put up lights outside in a couple of years. I love clear icicle lights though.

  65. Kristen on December 10th, 2009 11:43 am

We decorate quite a bit inside and out, but not too crazy or gawdy. The best part is my husband does it all, even my Dept 56 village - he says I don’t do it right which is true - he does a much better job!

  66. Tara Orr on December 10th, 2009 11:45 am

10 tubes!?!? You’re killing me here!!

I guess we don’t go nutsy like that, but we do put up the lights (in November) and I have 4 Christmas trees…. ok, maybe a little nutsy!

  67. Kim Tan on December 10th, 2009 11:46 am

Just something simple at the main door, like a wreath. The main decor is a decorated tree in the living room with two cute reindeers beneath it, and a couple of trims by the windows.

  68. Kristyn G on December 10th, 2009 11:46 am

we have white stucco on our house so we use the “old school” big lights in clear and they make our house so bright and beautiful. It’s tasteful though, nothing over the top for us. Just simple and pretty.

  69. Malin.D on December 10th, 2009 11:47 am

I love chtistmas it looks like tinsel town here im crazy about decortaions!!!

  70. Carisch on December 10th, 2009 11:48 am

did someone say “glitter”? Ooooohhhh! So pretty! Gimme, Gimme, Gimme! Make my pages SPARKLE!

  71. Jen K on December 10th, 2009 11:50 am

This year we didn’t do outside this year but the inside is becoming quite pretty as we do/make something everyday

  72. Diana B. on December 10th, 2009 11:50 am

We do not decorate the outside with lights or anything. I just hang a wreath on the door. Inside we have a tree up and we decorate the fireplace and mantle with Christmas decorations. :)

  73. Shemaine Smith on December 10th, 2009 11:52 am

Oh Wow! We are getting closer to the 12th day and the winners!!! You know what, we live in an apartment in LA and we are all the way in the back so there’s isn’t a way for us to decorate :( but I deck out the inside of our home with lights and decorations.

  74. Ember S. on December 10th, 2009 11:52 am

Definitely not like the Griswold’s…I like things more minimal. 10 tubes of glitter…AWESOME!

  75. Denise Sprague on December 10th, 2009 11:53 am

My husband likes to light up the whole neighborhood. If I could only get him to be as enthusiastic about taking them down!!

  76. Lynn Furr on December 10th, 2009 11:57 am

    I love that glitter!

Yes - I’m definitely a member of the Griswold family! I don’t do too much outside - I wrap my porch railings with garland and have wreaths and three little trees lit up on the side and do garland around my front door with little trees on each side - all lit up of course!
But inside - I just go crazy. I have a total of 7 trees decorated inside my house - anywhere from my 9′ tall “real” tree decorated with angels and gold to my little 2 1/2′ gingerbread tree in the kitchen. Plus, I have a village that I have collected for about 20 years - each “house” is about 8-9″ tall and I have a total of 44 houses plus all the assorted people, gazebo’s, bridges, etc. I even have a riverboat. My village stays out all year in a built-in cabinet in my dining room but I have a special scene that I do on the buffet table in the dining room.
I also collect tree toppers and have about 15 of those on top of the piano.

    I LOVE the Holidays!

  77. Marinette on December 10th, 2009 11:58 am

Oh yes I would like to decorate the outdoor of my house but infortunately it is not possible because I live in an appartment snif snif

  78. Elizabeth Williams on December 10th, 2009 11:58 am

We light up the neighborhood at Halloween so we let our neighbors do the honors at Christmas. Inside is a whole different story!

  79. CJ Johnson on December 10th, 2009 11:58 am

We are not the Griswald’s. One tasteful tree and one tasteful lit up outdoor item. One stocking for each resident and that is about it.

    Love the glitter. Nice addition.

  80. Jen Barkdull on December 10th, 2009 11:59 am

Well, we’re not like the Griswolds. LOL!!!! But we do like decorating for Christmas. We have minimal lights outside, but I LOVE decorating inside. We have a large, open foyer with a banister all along the upstairs and down the stairs, we decorate this with garland and ribbon, and then we have a 9 ft. tree. I LOVE it!

  81. Dawn Morris on December 10th, 2009 12:00 pm

I use to go all out for Christmas with lights and decorations. I’ve grown up and kinda lost the magic a little I think. :( With a small family and no children, the spirit of Christmas is kinda boring. lol. I do decorate and put up a tree. I just don’t go overboard with the lights anymore.

  82. Julie Mitchell on December 10th, 2009 12:02 pm

We have so much snow here that it’s difficult to have lots of lights and decorations on the ground. It’s usually a few lights, a wreath and a little reindeer. If I had more stirage space, I might have more decorations but I’m limited to a few boxes for Christmas decorations. Thanks for the awesome chance to win.

  83. Jana Eubank on December 10th, 2009 12:02 pm

At our last house we used to put lights along the roofline and in all the trees. But last year we moved to a new home on a dead-end street . . . it’s funny how that has taken off the “pressure” to put up lots of lights. LOL! Now we just have lighted garland on our door & railing and then 6 lit topiary-type pine trees around our garage and entryway. I do LOOOOOVE homes with lots of lighting and we often take long drives around town to enjoy them all. :)

  84. Leah on December 10th, 2009 12:05 pm

Just a few lights outside…along the roof line of the house…and that is only if dh gets around to it!

  85. Nola on December 10th, 2009 12:06 pm

    No Christmas Lights : (
He has no Christmas spirit and he wouldn’t put it up.
Maybe, this weekend I am going to try to put up the Christmas lights on by myself.

I have already decorated our Christmas tree and baking goodies!

  86. nikki on December 10th, 2009 12:06 pm

oooh glitter!!!! love it! i normally dont do the outside of the house but the inside is all decked out!

  87. paola on December 10th, 2009 12:08 pm

we don’t use to put many light outside here in Italy; just some light on a tree in the garden .

  88. Megan A on December 10th, 2009 12:10 pm

    we dont decorate outside much

  89. Christina C on December 10th, 2009 12:11 pm

We haven’t had a tree the last few years (space issues) so I do a wall of wreaths. Very festive.

  90. Lindsay on December 10th, 2009 12:13 pm

We don’t have plugs outside of our house - so we do wreaths with big red bows on our windows and door.

  91. Tina on December 10th, 2009 12:14 pm

We always decorate our house on christmas. In Germany that’s not so popular, but my family and I love it!! ;)

  92. JJ on December 10th, 2009 12:15 pm

We don’t put lights outside the house, because our house is mostly hidden by trees, so no one would see them. We do love to decorate inside though!

  93. Alena Honeycutt on December 10th, 2009 12:15 pm

We hang red and green lights with clear icesicle lights outside and decorate inside…you can see on my blog…alenahoneycutt.blogspot.com. :)

  94. HeatherH on December 10th, 2009 12:15 pm

We just put a few lights at the back of our house (no outlet at the front). And fairly moderate decorations inside-the tree and a few decorations. My husband is not as much of a Christmas fan as I am. Of course if we put our 4 year old in charge of decisions about decorations our house would look exactly like the Griswolds-he loves lights.

  95. Alisa Logue on December 10th, 2009 12:17 pm

Oh, this is getting better and better. Last year we did the Griswold’s. This year we only decorated the inside. Too busy this year! -Alisa

  96. Liz on December 10th, 2009 12:20 pm

I don’t put any lights up on the outside of the house because I am lazy. No, seriously, I am a single parent and between trying to get the house decorated on the inside, the christmas shopping, the baking, crafting and other “stuff”, decorating the outside just isn’t terribly important to me. I do have a bit of decoration hanging on my front door, and a super tacky neon green lighted wreath from Ikea on the bathroom window, but that’s it.

  97. Ashley Stephens on December 10th, 2009 12:20 pm

We usually do, but we’re in Turkey now and the house is concrete- not really good for hanging lights! =)

  98. Lynda Manning on December 10th, 2009 12:21 pm

Wow that is a awesome 12 days of christmas.

We have 2 strands of lights up in our BBQ area and around 10 decorations there too.Summer christmas in New Zealand.

  99. Robin Wade on December 10th, 2009 12:24 pm

WOW! I’ve been without internet access for a few days and lookie what you’ve all added!! Amazing!! No, we are not like the Griswalds… however, when I am able to decorate (unfortnately not this year) I have tons of stuff for the inside!! I love this holiday season!!

  100. Stacey on December 10th, 2009 12:29 pm

It is an ongoing battle every year - my husband would “Griswold” it up all over the yard if I didn’t reign him in - I like a few lights/decorations. ‘Tis the season! Thanks in advance…

  101. rebecca keppel on December 10th, 2009 12:30 pm

Oh I was hoping the glitter would make an appearance!! Wishing, hoping that this one comes to me :)

  102. Diana A on December 10th, 2009 12:30 pm

we live in an apartment, and at most we’d put a string of lights around our window (on the inside).

  103. Jennifer C on December 10th, 2009 12:31 pm

No we are not Griswalds… I do the inside up but nothing outside. I have enough on plate to worry about that but I do enjoy all my neighbors lights!

  104. NICOLE MARTEL on December 10th, 2009 12:32 pm

You guys are sooooo awesome!!! No we don’t light up the outside of the house, too much work lol. I can barely get hubby to go get a Christmas Tree each year! But I do appreciate those who put lights up outside, it looks gorgeous all decked out! There’s a house in the neighborhood that is gorgeous each year, And I’m bummed that this year, they didn’t decorate!

  105. Terry Callaghan on December 10th, 2009 12:35 pm

I LOVE GLITTER!!! LAST RETREAT I WENT TO EVERYTHING I BOUGHT WAS GLITTER!!!!

  106. Sara on December 10th, 2009 12:37 pm

We still live in an apartment, so we’re not decorating outside…YET. I definately love to see lights on other people homes. So festive. Can’t wait to be able to do it one day!

  107. june on December 10th, 2009 12:38 pm

just the basics outside, nothing crazy. my neighbors have to outdo each other every year:)

  108. Julie, momto7 on December 10th, 2009 12:38 pm

no Griswold decorating here…we like simple and pretty. Thanks for another chance to WIN!

  109. Shelly on December 10th, 2009 12:39 pm

Love EVERYTHING. No decorations outside but decorations in almost every room in side the house. Is it wrong to put a little tree in the bathroom ? : )

  110. Linda Cummings on December 10th, 2009 12:39 pm

Outside icicle lights on house, seasonal flag, wreaths on the windows and door….simple decorations. Our neighbors have a billion lights.

Would love some glitter! Linda C

  111. danella perkins on December 10th, 2009 12:40 pm

we don’t ‘light up the outside’… BUT we sure lOve to gO see Others that light up outside! what holiday fun it is! so… come on ‘griswalds’… do it so we can go see!

  112. Tiffany on December 10th, 2009 12:43 pm

I grew up with decorating the outside of the house being a BIG deal - you always went all out. I’ve been married now 3 1/2 years and this is the first time we’ve lived in the same place for two Christmas’s in a row (even though last year we spent 2 weeks of Christmas visiting his out-of-state parents). We would totally decorate the outside, but decorating an apartment balcony just isn’t as fun!

  113. maria therese on December 10th, 2009 12:44 pm

    all that glitters is yummi

  114. Jane on December 10th, 2009 12:45 pm

Oh yes!!!! My husband go crazy with lights, signs, all kinds of fixtures in the yard! My girls just love it and I think it a WONDERFUL that he does it for the kids :)

THANKS for the chance… just LOVE your products !!!! MY FAV :)

  115. Candice Reszko on December 10th, 2009 12:45 pm

We used to deck our house up but not iwth lights which is a surprise. Now that I have my own family we think that it is just best to keep it simple and focus more on the blessing of the year.
    Thanks!!!

  116. Avital on December 10th, 2009 12:46 pm

I am not in a decorating spree. Not at all. I think living away from our family makes these little things less important… Dunno. Thanks for the super exciting prize!!!!

  117. Glyniss on December 10th, 2009 12:47 pm

We used to line the roof lines with lights but my husband fell this fall and is in a sling from having rotator cuff surgery…. no lights this year.

  118. Anna on December 10th, 2009 12:51 pm

We have our token string of lights on our house, which to me, almost looks worse then no lights at all, but I have no Clark Griswold for a husband, LOL!

  119. Tina on December 10th, 2009 12:52 pm

Yes, I love Christmas lights–but we still have to put ours up. Hopefully we’ll find time to take care of it this weekend.

  120. Nancy K on December 10th, 2009 12:53 pm

The inside of my house is decorated to the hilt. But I can’t get dh out on the ladder to do the outside. sigh

  121. Pamela Young on December 10th, 2009 12:55 pm

Yeah for Pixee Stixs! :) And I don’t consider us to be like the Griswolds…in fact we haven’t even put lights up outside for two years in a row. :) I do love Christmas and I decorate inside the house, but I don’t think we quite go overboard like the Griswolds.

  122. PrairieGirl on December 10th, 2009 12:55 pm

    YaY! Pixee stix!!!
I love to decorate our home inside and out! For the outside we have a wrought iron nativity arch with lights which my mother’s friend made a few years ago. And I *loooove* putting pineboughs in the window boxes! I’ve bought some big, inexpensive plastic ornament balls and I put those in there. As for the inside; I have some lovely garlands that I put up in a couple of rooms and I hang some red berry wreaths by the windows. Haven’t put too much up yet so far, to be honest.

  123. Jingle on December 10th, 2009 12:55 pm

Nope! Not at all! I keep it simple and we are in an apartment so there is nothing outside (although…even when we lived in a house I didn’t do stuff outside). I like it to be simple and pretty!

  124. tara on December 10th, 2009 12:59 pm

How exciting the pile is getting :) We have decorated the outside but not all the time. Now the inside of our house we go all our!! I love decorating and have sooo much fun doing it. I just hate taking it down and putting it away lol.

  125. Gina on December 10th, 2009 1:02 pm

We just keep it simple, small lights outside, and candles. That and the snow we are expecting makes the perfect picture for us.

  126. connie on December 10th, 2009 1:03 pm

This year was the first year for outside lights. Just hung the icicle lights, snow on windows and ribbon around poles. My neighbors yard is lite up!

  127. Tara Piper on December 10th, 2009 1:03 pm

We usually put some white icles lights up outside with some reindeer but this year it didn’t happen! Work and weather have put a damper on this season so far!

  128. Beth M on December 10th, 2009 1:03 pm

We typically do, but this year time & schedules got away from us, so all I have outside with lights right now is 2 of our house lights are blue & green & I have 3 small Primitive trees that are lit up.

Now, my grandma can pretty much keep her local electric company in business for the year!! There ain’t an inch of yard, house, tree, window…you name it that’s not covered in lights or has a lighted figure on it. I think the rest of the neighborhood goes dim when she turns her lights on. LOL!

    P.S. 10 PIXIE STIX too???? (drool…)

  129. JPScraps on December 10th, 2009 1:03 pm

We decorate along the porch and front window. No Griswalds here :)

  130. Lauren Carlson on December 10th, 2009 1:04 pm

Love the glitter! We decorate our house with a few wreaths and put lights on a few bushes.

  131. ohkat on December 10th, 2009 1:08 pm

Nope, we’re the people that drive by to gawk at the Griswalds. We never seem to have the time, maybe one day when we retire… (ha ha like that will happen before old age and senility hit) We do love to get in the car and go look at the lights.

  132. Erica Hettwer on December 10th, 2009 1:09 pm

    Oh, I love your glitter!
Yep, we decorate here! The hubby just finished the outside lights and we’re getting the tree up today. A little late but with a very very very active eight month old we finally decided that a large live tree wouldn’t cut it so we borrowed my folks four foot faux tree. :D So we’re not quite Griswaldian in our decor but we do enjoy it!

  133. Janet Lebeau on December 10th, 2009 1:09 pm

I only hang a few icicle lights up!

  134. Susan on December 10th, 2009 1:14 pm

Season’s greetings from the Grinch’s wife–how many outdoor lights and decos I have is all up to me! Since I’m scared of anything other than a short stepladder, it’s never come close to the biggest show in town. (But I’m always rather proud that of it anyway.)

  135. Ally White on December 10th, 2009 1:14 pm

Do we put up outside lights……..Can’t you see them from where you are!!! He who has the most lights wins ya know :)

  136. Paula D on December 10th, 2009 1:14 pm

OMG, glitter, glitter and more glitter!!!!!!!!!!! No, we are not the Griswolds, more like the Kranks, we hardly have any decorations up at all. Maybe we’ll hang some liights on the palm trees (we’re in FL)

  137. janet on December 10th, 2009 1:14 pm

YUP we are to a limit. We have icicle lights around the whole house and a scene of santa clause on a sleigh and four reinders and cannot forget about Rudolph he leads the sleigh with the others. He has a special red bulb on his nose to light up the way lol. We also got two 6 1/2 foot santa’s one at the front door and one in the middle of the yard waving. I made these all myself and my grandkids love them.

  138. Sandrine on December 10th, 2009 1:17 pm

Woooohooooooo !! Glitter glitter glitter !!! ME ME ME PICK MEEEEEEEE !!

  139. Deb on December 10th, 2009 1:18 pm

We don’t decorate the outside of the house, and with 55mph winds yesterday, I was glad! We put up our tree and some garland and a wreath and a few little decorations here and there, and that’s about it! I did put up a smaller tree in the kids’ playroom for them this year too.

  140. Jennifer Hansen on December 10th, 2009 1:18 pm

The hubby puts up some lights, but not as obnoxious as the Griswolds.

  141. Leslie on December 10th, 2009 1:18 pm

I love that movie!! But sadly, no lights outside…just a wreath and simple tree by the front door! Thanks again for another great giveaway!!

  142. StéphaniePapin on December 10th, 2009 1:19 pm

totally perfect !what can i say more ?

  143. Carmen on December 10th, 2009 1:24 pm

We seem to alternate every-other year. One year we don’t want to do anything, and the next we do a lot. Even so, we still keep the outdoors to a minimum - I subscribe to the philosophy that more is NOT better. We have a few white lights in trees, along the fence, on a cross, and along the front of the garage.

  144. Vicki on December 10th, 2009 1:28 pm

We have only started putting up lights on the outside of the house over the past couple of years. The kids love it however haven’t done it yet as its been too wet at the weekends.

  145. Michelle W. on December 10th, 2009 1:30 pm

We LOVE Christmas lights! And DH loves to buy more every year!

  146. Laura on December 10th, 2009 1:33 pm

I suppose I’m a Martha Wanna Be, but nowhere close in reality. Just some garland with the old fashioned colorful lights around the front door, colorful mini lights around the bushes along the front, Santa, and two old fashioned candles on either side of the door. Oh, and a spotlight shining on the door. Pretty simple, but colorful!

  147. paris anderson on December 10th, 2009 1:34 pm

We normally just put icicle lights up around the edge of the roof of the front porch.

  148. Sherry on December 10th, 2009 1:36 pm

No, not too much. Just simple lights outside but inside every room has a tree. Got to love my Christmas trees!

  149. val gould on December 10th, 2009 1:36 pm

*drool* ohhhhhh pixee stix are so beautiful!! I like just looking at them , lol!
no, we do not decorate outside, just our tree with lights inside! we have a puppy that wants to inspect everything so the tree was enought this year!

  150. wendi r on December 10th, 2009 1:38 pm

    ohhhh yummy glitter….

unfortunately we don’t do outside much… hubby doesn’t like getting on the roof.. I actually did it last year, but this year we waited too long and now theres snow, so it’s too late.. but I decorate LOTS inside :)

  151. Jennifer Fast on December 10th, 2009 1:40 pm

We don’t decorate the outside of the house much….although if I had my way we would be like the Griswolds……but, I am not the one that does the decorations outside. My job is inside, and it takes me over 3 hours just to put my tree up with lights, and then another hour or so to do the rest of the decorations……

  152. Candace on December 10th, 2009 1:41 pm

Ho, Ho, Ho, This would make a verrrrry, merrrry, Christmas!

  153. Nina Patena on December 10th, 2009 1:43 pm

Glitter! Sparkly, scrumptious, beautiful and yummy!

We have a Christmas lantern in the Philippines called a “parol”. It’s a star-shaped Christmas lantern that reminds us of the star that led the three wise men to the baby Jesus. =)

And, after the first one we bought for our little family got destroyed because of the wind, we finally got a new one this year and it’s lighting up the outside of our very own little condo.

Happy holidays! Can’t imagine what esle you can add to that already amazing, luscious giveaway! Yum!

  154. Debbie O'Neal on December 10th, 2009 1:45 pm

You bet we do ! Our house looks like a lighted candy land. Lollipops, candy canes, gum drops…lots of colored lights. We love it and so do the kids.

Winning a pink paislee prize would be like winning a game of candy land :) LOL Happy Holidays all.

  155. Hila L on December 10th, 2009 1:46 pm

    Hey, what a great giveaway!
We don’t actually celebrate x-mas here, in Israel, but i’m sure that if we would, i would probably decorate my housr, from inside and outside! :-)

(and i muxt mention again - i will happily pay for the shipping of the prize if i’ll be the winner :) )

  156. Monica Robinson on December 10th, 2009 1:46 pm

Love and the wonderful goodness you are giving away!!! We decorate outside and in. :) I would love to do more inside of course with stuff I make but its hard to make time!!! I have ideas but not time. Thanks for chance to win!

  157. aubree greenspun on December 10th, 2009 1:47 pm

If it were up to my children, we would decorate like the Griswolds x 10!

  158. Ann Cicilie on December 10th, 2009 1:48 pm

Hoooly Moly, that prize is really getting goood:D

No, we do not light up outside the house at all actually. It’s not really common in Norway, where I come from, or in Denmark, where I live now. I prefer lightening lots of candles inside our house :)

  159. kathleen on December 10th, 2009 1:50 pm

i live in an apartment so we decorate the inside like crazy but always seem to misplace the decorations the next year.Would love the glitter to decorate a banner!

  160. marie-anne raeman on December 10th, 2009 1:51 pm

    love the glitter!!!!!
we don’t have lights on the ouside of the house but we put lights in the chrismastree and lots of candles here in belgium ;-)

  161. CoreyW on December 10th, 2009 1:53 pm

with the exception of this year because we’re travelling - we do decorate and go all out! my dh refers to the inside as “santa sneeze”. so many santas!

and the outside lights get better every year - next year I’m adding a moose!

  162. sandra m. on December 10th, 2009 1:59 pm

Ha, the griswolds are our neighbors so we are a bit conservative with our lighting! Love the pixie stix, glad to see them included!

  163. kim harter on December 10th, 2009 1:59 pm

I am more of a simple girl I nice big wreath on the door and an urn full of christmas greens on the porch will do the trick

  164. Joli on December 10th, 2009 2:04 pm

This is the first year we have had a Griswold house, we even have a big blow up Santa. I think its pretty tacky, buy my kids love it, and that is what matters!

  165. Janene M on December 10th, 2009 2:05 pm

I love Christmas and the look of lights flickering and trees a trimming but being Jewish… don’t get to decorate.

  166. Betsy Gourley on December 10th, 2009 2:05 pm

    10 tubes of glitter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I win those, I can decorate the whole outside of my house with glitter. For now, the lights will have to do. We switched to LED last year. They look a little blue, which takes some getting used to, but “green is good”.

  167. Tracey B on December 10th, 2009 2:05 pm

We (by we I mean me) put a few lights outside and a few decorations inside. I usually wait until the coldest day of the year to put them up and I live in Canada. We are in no manner like the Griswolds.

  168. Lori C on December 10th, 2009 2:07 pm

I love decorating outdoors, but simple is much prettier, in my opinion. I just can’t bring myself to buy any of those blow-up monstrosities on the market. I prefer to keep it to icicle lights hanging from the roof, net lighting in the bushes, pine garland on the porch, candles and wreaths in the windows, and a wreath on the front door.

  169. Melinda Wilson on December 10th, 2009 2:07 pm

We don’t do too many decorations anymore. We just put our lighted snowmen and manger scene.

  170. gloria on December 10th, 2009 2:16 pm

We used to put a few lights outside and then linet he walkway to our front door with the plastic candy canes. However, the past few years I’ve only decorated the inside … and I put thing(s) in each room.

  171. Silsine on December 10th, 2009 2:18 pm

I love the lights, but i live on a flat, so i tried to decorate as well.

  172. nitasha on December 10th, 2009 2:24 pm

Hmm….Griswolds? not so much! More like the Grinch- just kidding!!!
Love the Christmas season, but I’m so lazy about decorating…and I’ve never done lights outside because my electric bill is already high enough every month! But I do love to look at nicely decorated homes and outside lights. Speaking of lights…those pixie sticks are putting a twinkle in my eye! Love this giveaway!

  173. michelle S on December 10th, 2009 2:25 pm

Definitely not big on the outside decorations. I LOVE to look at them, but they are WAY TOO much work!!!! :)

  174. Gina on December 10th, 2009 2:26 pm

We host our family’s Christmas on even numbered years, so on odd years like this one, decorating is pretty scaled back. I put some little decorations out and we put wreaths up outside and inside, but we won’t have a tree this year.

  175. Fleur Smith on December 10th, 2009 2:29 pm

I love decorating the outside of my house - lots of lights and we have some Santa lights and a sign that says Santa Stop Here!

  176. Roxann Marshall on December 10th, 2009 2:29 pm

Not too much outside, but the inside is full. Is five Christmas trees too much?

  177. stephany zerbe ♥ on December 10th, 2009 2:30 pm

Love that family. Wish I had the energy and MONEY to decorate the crap out of my home. This year we have no decor outside. We are moving twice in 6 moths so we have a bad attitude about it you could say. Sad right. Love that movie though and hope to be more like that in 6 months when we finally settle into our crazy life.

  178. Stéphanie Pouliot on December 10th, 2009 2:35 pm

    WOW !!!!
    love the tubes of glitter!
mmm not really douable, but the inside will be over the weekend!

  179. Debra on December 10th, 2009 2:35 pm

We only light up our roof line with some new led’s we got this year. Since we are in a newer development we unfortunately have no trees to put lights on. We’ve been here 3 years, but just can’t afford trees yet! We don’t want to risk stressing out our few bushes with the weight of lights, so just the roof and indoors it is for now. At least our neighbors only have little trees so we aren’t too out done! Our inside is nice and holiday-ish with smells of baking and decorations.

  180. Sophia Allison on December 10th, 2009 2:37 pm

We decorate inside here, not on the outside…

  181. lynnsey on December 10th, 2009 2:39 pm

We just bought our first house, so this being our first Christmas together, we have decorated very minimal outside, but we do have a few wreaths up and spot lights

  182. Rachel on December 10th, 2009 2:41 pm

we’re more miserly, like the grinches or something. very few decorations, the tree is up and there are a couple of strings of lights on the house, but nothing fancy!

  183. Nenne on December 10th, 2009 2:42 pm

LOL! I would if my DH wasn’t such a cheapo! :p He throw tantrums every time electricity bill comes! :D

  184. **vickiellen** on December 10th, 2009 2:43 pm

if it weren’t for having kids…i likely wouldn’t decorate at all…not a grinch…just not my thing. we do put up a tree and some additional garland/wreaths inside. as for outside…we have a lit wreath and some garland - but not much compared to our neighbors… :)

  185. Erin on December 10th, 2009 2:44 pm

Oh my goodness! I adore glitter!! We don’t put lights on the outside of our house but I have the inside decked from top to bottom! It makes me so happy to come home from work to all the festive decor!

  186. Valerie Williams on December 10th, 2009 2:45 pm

I have lived in this house 20 years so I really decorate inside especially. I have a Dept. 56 village that I put up in a big bow window and also in my dining room. This year I have had a Korean 9 year old visiting student helping me and we have had alot o fun.

  187. Frances on December 10th, 2009 2:46 pm

I usually go a tad crazy with the decorations…inside, but this year we moved into a new house a week ago. So needless to say, my decorations are a bit scarce. Hope to get my abode in the spirit soon!

  188. Susan M on December 10th, 2009 2:51 pm

I don’t get to do a whole in my house but my mom always goes all out even after all of us have left. I do not think that there is an inch without any decoration lol.

  189. JIll on December 10th, 2009 2:52 pm

Still wishing and hoping that you’ll pick me!

  190. Michelle Elford on December 10th, 2009 2:55 pm

Since I’m going home for Christmas (i’m in college), most of my stuff is there. We don’t have a tree here either, but I just put up some of my favorite ornaments that I have with me on a string on my wall. It looks pretty cool! But we have the music going 24/7!

  191. Gina on December 10th, 2009 2:58 pm

we light up the tree and have little fairy lights in the trees in the garden..no one can see our house from the street but we can look out the windows and see the lights so. thanks so much for the chance :)

  192. Cassaundra Lala on December 10th, 2009 3:00 pm

Totally Griswold’s at the Lala house. Each room has its own theme/color scheme for Christmas. And I never have enough decorations.

Love the giveaways….thanks for offering them!

  193. Samantha T. on December 10th, 2009 3:00 pm

My husband’s in charge of griswolding the outside (all LED’s). I’ve been busy decorating inside, and of course about 1/2 the decorations are hand made by me!

  194. nili on December 10th, 2009 3:04 pm

i’m sorry to say i dont

  195. Shannon on December 10th, 2009 3:05 pm

We light up in the christmas tree in the front window and hang some simple fairy lights along the front of the house….not so Griswolds here.

  196. abbey on December 10th, 2009 3:07 pm

We do just a bit. Usually, we have a couple wreathes and light of the tree or sometimes the eves if we are feeling ambitious.

  197. Paola on December 10th, 2009 3:08 pm

The outside of my house is decorated with a big tree (a real one!) with lights and decoration; and my door with a quilt nativity! bye bye!

  198. karin c on December 10th, 2009 3:08 pm

We use clear white lights on the outside of the house, but few decorations!

  199. Anna Buis on December 10th, 2009 3:12 pm

We put up just enough lights to make the kids happy & make the front of our house cute. I’d so love to have more Christmas decor, but it’s just not in our budget. Neither are Christmas presents most years. But we make do & enjoy keeping things simple this time of year.

  200. Becky on December 10th, 2009 3:13 pm

Well, we’re not quite as crazy as the Griswold family but if I had my way we’d have a TON more out in the yard. We put out a lighted nativity scene, some trees and reindeer, snowmen and candycanes and a few other little things. I love how excited my girls get when they see the house all lighted up.

  201. Paula G on December 10th, 2009 3:13 pm

My eyes are sparkling as bright as your pretty glitter at this contest! We do “deck our halls.” Outside we have icicle lights, some light up reindeerand a giant light up snowman. Indoors, a real tree in the living room and a small tree in each of the 4 bedrooms. Each tree tells a story - we have our “coiuples” ornaments on our tree, my mom has lots of Grandma ornaments on hers, and the kids’ trees reflect their hobbies, characters they like and places they’ve been. We also have our collection of Christmas music boxes and bells throughout the house. It is so cozy and merry!

  202. PippiPebbles on December 10th, 2009 3:19 pm

we do, there are 2 buxusses next to the frontdoor, and these will get some light! Although i don’t think it’s strictly christmas, I would look nice all year round!

  203. Kim on December 10th, 2009 3:22 pm

LOVE THAT GLITTER!! We didn’t get to decorate much this year, inside or out. The tree is up and I have a few of my Christmas time goodies that are out, but with both of us working the overnight shift right now, it just ain’t happened. Also, knowing that I will get my hours cut after the first of the year, we have decided to use it for gifts instead of making the electric bill higher this year.

  204. Theresa kiwicanuck on December 10th, 2009 3:23 pm

No, we don’t have any outdoor Christmas lights. It’s summer here in New Zealand and the sun doesn’t set until almost 9:30pm. Since I go to bed at 10pm, my Christmas lights would only be on and visible for about 30 minutes.

  205. Robin Mowat on December 10th, 2009 3:24 pm

I do most of my decorating through Christmas cards. I make new ones each year and save a sample as well as saving special cards from Christmas’s past. Then they are strung through the house.
When one is older with families on their own or passed away the Christmas spirit lives in memories.

  206. Janet Zeppa on December 10th, 2009 3:27 pm

    Yippee!!! Glitter!!!
Don’t do much outside other than a wreath. I do more inside.

  207. Debby R on December 10th, 2009 3:28 pm

OOH!!! Pixie Stix- What a great prize!

  208. Summer Braxton on December 10th, 2009 3:30 pm

No, we are not like the Griswald’s yet. I would love to, but I can’t get hubby to put up too many lights. He prefers not to climb on to the roof. I’m hoping that our little girl will start to ask Daddy for more lights when she gets older. He won’t be able to refuse her :)

  209. Kerryn on December 10th, 2009 3:32 pm

No, but I love looking at the houses that do! I took my kids for a wander last night before bed to see some of the houses around our neighbourhood that have been decorated. I love that people have made the effort to get in the spirit, and my kids loved looking at all the lights too :).

  210. Bree Tetz on December 10th, 2009 3:38 pm

I wish my answer was yes, but my dh just wont do it.. hes an “all or nothing” type of guy, and wont put any lights up unless we do the 2nd story… problem is.. we live in Northern Canada and its like -40 out with the windchill… so maybe one day I can convince him to hire someone to do it.

Thanks again at the amazing chance to win these lovely prizes.

  211. Amy Coose on December 10th, 2009 3:39 pm

WOOHOO, look at that prize pack!!! I am definitely an outdoor lights person. Love to see it all lit up!

  212. Doreen on December 10th, 2009 3:40 pm

We are the house on the block that is lit up and everyone drives slowly by to see, my Husband loves his lights to match and be neatly hung, and of course I do the inside all decorated even the bathroom, this is one holiday we enjoy. . . .

  213. Amanda on December 10th, 2009 3:41 pm

Ours is no Griswald but DH does put some lights around the rooftop and we have a big blow up snowman in the yard. Happy Scrappin! A~

  214. Zoe on December 10th, 2009 3:47 pm

We havnt gone crazy this year becuase dh had a bad accident in august and he’s still recovery! me I have vertigo so this year no outdoor lights! Next year we are going all out and making it a griswald christmas hohoho

  215. Erica H on December 10th, 2009 3:48 pm

    So much sparkle!!!

  216. Lara on December 10th, 2009 3:55 pm

Thankfully, we are NOT like the Griswolds. We only put about 8 strands of lights on our Christmas tree, inside, but nothing but wreaths and (inside) window decorations.

  217. ShellyJ on December 10th, 2009 3:56 pm

    YEAH! Pixee Stix :)

  218. rachel on December 10th, 2009 3:57 pm

woooww!!! it’s getting better and better!!!!!! hope to win it…… :D

  219. Teresa on December 10th, 2009 4:02 pm

    Yay! and glitter too! Brilliant!

  220. mia on December 10th, 2009 4:03 pm

oh gosh…….my dh is a light geek! okay so one year (this was so embarrassing) he had so many lights on our house that we had to have them plug in on 2 sides of the house otherwise they kept kicking the breaker off…….we were like the house that shone for miles….and it was so over done and *tacky* if you ask me…so whenever ds was gone i’d only turn on HALF the lights! (one switch, instead of both!) {{LOL}} i finally fessed up after a few months so he only puts up a nice amount now! :)

we have those new bright ones that are so pretty all around the house, and then on 6 trees or something like that! enough to make him happy and not too much that i am embarrassed to turn them on!!!!! *giggles*

  221. Kerri Norrod on December 10th, 2009 4:05 pm

We put up a few decorations outside of the house, but we mostly decorate inside.

  222. Beth Perry on December 10th, 2009 4:10 pm

YIKES!! ESPECIALLY LOVE THE MAGICAL FAIRY DUST! HAHAHA

  223. Jacquie on December 10th, 2009 4:11 pm

This year we have family coming to see us so we are decking the halls both inside and outside!

    Jacquie

  224. Amy Arthur on December 10th, 2009 4:11 pm

What an amazing giveaway!! Our outside decorations are pretty simple. Some icicle lights, greenery and bows and that about does it.

  225. Didee on December 10th, 2009 4:14 pm

Oh yes we do!!! We love looking at Christmas lights so each year we add a new item to our outdoor decorations. We have icicle lights hanging from the guttering around our house, lights through-out the gardens, in the tree’s and on the window’s. My two girl’s love it. Each night we sit out the front handing out candies to the people who drive by to see our lights and wish them a very merry Christmas. Yet another favorite tradition of ours!! xo

  226. ames on December 10th, 2009 4:14 pm

We just go with lights on the tree - mostly because we rent.

  227. Loydene on December 10th, 2009 4:16 pm

WE have outside lights …. but they are incredibly restrained — merely white icicle lights across the front of the house.

  228. Romy on December 10th, 2009 4:22 pm

Oh yes, we have. Only inside, just because it makes it look like it’s so warm inside when it’s cold outside.

  229. Jennifer Evans on December 10th, 2009 4:22 pm

We decorate very simply on the outside of our home. But we love the gliz on the inside. ;)

  230. Lillian Child on December 10th, 2009 4:31 pm

Glitter tubes ! Oh my - love ‘em !! Just not physically able to put up house lights outside, but I do so enjoy seeing them on other people’s homes. I do have a mechanical train that runs around my Christmas tree, though, that my 1-1/2 year old grandson is in love with.

  231. Dawn Ritchie on December 10th, 2009 4:32 pm

Glitter!!!! That’s my fav! We, normally, light up our house like crazy the day after Thanksgiving and decorate the inside and have Christmas music blaring and cookies… however, with a newborn it’s been a little tougher to find the time to do it all. So, my little Savannah and I enjoy Christmas music when we can between naps and pretend we have lots of sparkly lights. :)

  232. mabel m on December 10th, 2009 4:34 pm

    can’t wait can’t wait!!! =)

  233. Amy Megan on December 10th, 2009 4:35 pm

We have outside lights around the frame of the house - nothing like the Griswalds, but pretty! We also have a small light up Nativity under our palm tree - which really sheds “light” on the true meaning of Christmas.
This is such a fantastic contest!!!

  234. Nadine on December 10th, 2009 4:41 pm

Yep, my DH and our neighbor are even worst then the Griswalds. Our house is one of the crazy ones that is synchronized to music with over 100,000 lights on it. My DH starts hanging the lights up the weekend after Halloween and it takes about a month to get them all up. I know, crazy huh?!?! lol

  235. Mariaje on December 10th, 2009 4:42 pm

    Cada día me gusta másssss!!!!!

  236. Susie on December 10th, 2009 4:52 pm

We do put up lights, but just around the house and fence. Great prize package, love everything PP!!

  237. Gini Cagle on December 10th, 2009 4:54 pm

The inside of my house looks like the Griswold’s but the outside looks like Scrooge.

  238. Jeannie on December 10th, 2009 5:00 pm

Actually we live in an apartment so we don’t decorate…we are more like the grinches…we celebrate christmas but just don’t decorate as we think it is more for the kids…I think of our household with my fiance and I very grateful that we have each other and our love….

This is a quote that I love:

Todays quote: The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. ~Burton Hillis

  239. Linh C on December 10th, 2009 5:01 pm

No Griswold Christmas here! We have some lites up but we keep it understated.

  240. Lyn S on December 10th, 2009 5:04 pm

No outdoor lights here, just a wreath on the door and inside decos.

  241. Lora Oliver on December 10th, 2009 5:05 pm

We do not put up outside holiday decorations because we live in a condo. I wish we could though!

  242. Agnus Kasprzak on December 10th, 2009 5:07 pm

Love glitter at Christmas and yes we light up the house each year, although hubby has to be nagged - oops I mean ‘talked’ into put them up each time ;)

  243. Michelle on December 10th, 2009 5:08 pm

I am truly a pathetic light person. We put up a few, but our house has crappy electrical circuits and more than a few strands trip our system. I happily enjoy the neighbors!

  244. Lauren on December 10th, 2009 5:11 pm

We had every intention of turning our new home into the Griswold Family Christmas Spectacular, but with the passing of our sweet dog Hailey, we’ve decided we’re perfectly happy with our Christmas Tree glowing through the picture window.

  245. Heather Garl on December 10th, 2009 5:14 pm

I love to see the outside of a home decorated…but I don’t like being out in the cold to put them up and take them down {I hate to see lights on homes in the Spring..can we say Lazy, people.} But I love to light up the inside. I love to have white lights on in the living room and all the other lights off…its so relaxing!

  246. tAM o'C on December 10th, 2009 5:22 pm

YES! We decorate outside and this year we decorated early. We even have a fully decorated tree on our porch. Love Christmas!!!!!! The loot is awesome!

  247. Genny V on December 10th, 2009 5:26 pm

Not so much on the outside of the house (except for some lights), more so on the inside! I just can’t stop buying decorations, this year particularly!!!

  248. Erika M on December 10th, 2009 5:30 pm

When we put up lights outside, they are very simple. I’m not into gaudy and loud!

  249. graceincalifornia on December 10th, 2009 5:31 pm

what a fabulous giveaway, wowzers… honestly, with the recession & being green, we’ve been prudent about outdoor decorations (just the outline of the house) and to make up for it, we cruise the neighborhood to go ohh & ahh at everyone else’s :) but inside it’s more festive and my fave is having a mini candyland town on top of the piano!

  250. Jen Stock on December 10th, 2009 5:32 pm

I LOVE pixie stix!!!!! We usually decorate the outside, but this year we moved and haven’t done the outside.

  251. FrancineB on December 10th, 2009 5:38 pm

I am an inner Griswold while my hubby is a scrooge. So, although I would love to light up the house like there is no tomorrow, hubby doesn’t like doing it and puts up just enough to at least look a little Christmasy. There are times I wish I was Superwoman and can do everything. :)

  252. Michelle La Grue on December 10th, 2009 5:42 pm

Just a tree for us but we were the first to have those Icicle lights in Ireland!! People knocked on our door to ask where we got them.

  253. Janette Childs on December 10th, 2009 5:44 pm

Am loving this giveaway! We put up lights for the first time this year, LED ones, and I love it!

  254. Kelly on December 10th, 2009 5:48 pm

I don’t decorate the outside of our house, only the inside. And I have been much more into making decorations this year.

  255. Sharon Osborn on December 10th, 2009 5:49 pm

I dont’ know what pixie stixs are!!!! Can I decorate with them?

  256. Carol on December 10th, 2009 5:51 pm

No outdoor lights. Since my kids have grown and moved out, it is hard to get things out like we used to. Can’t wait to see the finale.

  257. SandyM on December 10th, 2009 5:56 pm

This giveaway keeps getting better and better. As for outside lights. I am into simple elegance with white lights.

  258. Jenell on December 10th, 2009 6:00 pm

What great prizes - they are just getting better each day.

  259. Jackie W. on December 10th, 2009 6:00 pm

Yes! We have lights around the house, and on our shrubs, as well as candle lights in the windows. It’s so festive!

  260. Abby on December 10th, 2009 6:00 pm

I love the Griswolds! We LOVE decorating for Christmas, but don’t have lots of stuff outside. Most of ours is inside so we can enjoy it all the time!

  261. Michelle H in CA on December 10th, 2009 6:00 pm

I would love to win some great Pink Paislee products. Love the little glitter tubes……..good luck to everyone out there!!!!

We just put a wreath on the front door this year b/c we are trying to keep the electricity bill down so no lights outside this year. :o(

  262. Diane B. on December 10th, 2009 6:00 pm

did someone say GLITTER?!? pick me! pick me! pick me! LOL

  263. greta on December 10th, 2009 6:03 pm

this just keeps getting better. i love the glitter sticks

  264. Becky Elliott on December 10th, 2009 6:04 pm

We also decorate the tree and put it in the front window so it can be seen from the street. We focus mostly on the indoor decorations.

  265. Sian on December 10th, 2009 6:04 pm

We put a few lights outside, my husband is beginning to soften up about christmas!
Hope my name will be picked out, the goodies are amazing.

  266. Jamie on December 10th, 2009 6:09 pm

Griswolds? Ha! This year is the first year that my daughter and I braved the frigid temps to hang some lights outside…..

  267. Arianna on December 10th, 2009 6:13 pm

OMG it’s getting greater and greater every day!!
I’ve recently moved alone and will make basic decorations… little (paper) Christmas trees and some other little crafty decorations. Nothing big and blinky!

  268. Anette Eriksson on December 10th, 2009 6:20 pm

Where have I been, not reading blogs that for sure :-) Bussy getting organised for Christmas I believe. What a great give away. I must remember to check blogs again. :-) Cherio!

  269. Diana on December 10th, 2009 6:22 pm

we decorate outside but not all that much…..

  270. Michelle Wamboldt on December 10th, 2009 6:23 pm

Well, we’re not exactly the Griswolds, but we try! We decorate for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas. We like a really vintagey look, so lots of little white twinkle lights, snowmen and old fashioned candies like candy canes and big swirly lollipops…colorful and sparkly like pixie stix!

  271. rachael wood on December 10th, 2009 6:24 pm

not quite like the griswolds, but we do put lights on the house and have a couple of little lighted deer for the yard. it makes me feel warm and cozy to have that nice little glow.

  272. Kim L on December 10th, 2009 6:25 pm

This is the first year I will be able to decorate my house. I plan to put up some lights and garland, but I won’t be “that” neighbor that blinds everyone else!

  273. Jules McKenna-De Lumen on December 10th, 2009 6:29 pm

No Griswald’s here! I put up a wreath on the front door, but that’s about it. Next year we hope to change that tradition because the girls will be old enough to help me. (-:

  274. julie on December 10th, 2009 6:29 pm

we are not big decorators at xmas the tree and a few xmassy projects inside and not much outside.

  275. Beth on December 10th, 2009 6:30 pm

OMGOsh you folks are amazing!!!! I have two boys but my 20 yr old son

    scrap about them with!

  276. Lisa Hodge on December 10th, 2009 6:31 pm

Well, we did this year… but low-scale. Just pretty, clear icicle lights and a few plain small lights. Pretty, but simple.
    Merry Christmas!
    Lisa H. in Arkansas

  277. gretchen on December 10th, 2009 6:34 pm

well we are nowhere near the Griswold’s level, but we do some good decorating!

  278. Kimr on December 10th, 2009 6:37 pm

HO Ho HOW cool–some awesome Pixie stix too!!!! This will be an awesome gift under someone’s tree! (Hopefully mine!! LOL) WE aren’t like the Griswald’s We only have a candle in each window. I just love the classic look of that… Someday when we finsh redoing our house—I would like to have a spotlight on the front door as well to light up the wreath…

  279. kimberly bishop on December 10th, 2009 6:40 pm

we are definately the griswolds lol my husband goes to town on the outside with lots of lights candy canes twinkling lights and snowflakes but its never tacky just bright and so festive he does use alot of staples so he does remind me of clark!!!! happy holidays thanks for this amazing giveaway!!!!

plain and simple at out house…a beautiful wreath on the door and four belsnickels that DH cut out for me and I painted…topped off with a spotlight. Thanks for the chance for some glitter…love me some PP glitter. It truly is the BEST.

  284. Ida D. on December 10th, 2009 6:56 pm

    Ooh.. Glitter!

No, from where I’m from we don’t light up our houses which is not fun at all!

  285. Jennifer on December 10th, 2009 7:05 pm

I would love to have some glitter for my holiday pages!

We don’t do much house decorating at all - we do those premade window designs that you stick in the windows with suction cups - looks pretty & clean… Griswolds we are not! But I love seeing those houses in the neighborhood!

  286. Andrea Amu on December 10th, 2009 7:09 pm

I love, love, love Pixee Stix!! Yay!

We do not decorate with a lot of lights outside, but I sure do “deck the halls”!

  287. mica on December 10th, 2009 7:11 pm

Since we moved to this house, all we have is a wreath on the front door. We used to put up lights around the house, lights on the palm tree on the front yard, some yard sticks, etc. Love to look at lights in the neighborhood though :)

  288. Lisa on December 10th, 2009 7:12 pm

I’d love to have outdoor lights, but it is just too cold out!!! But I do decorate inside!

  289. Ginger on December 10th, 2009 7:12 pm

We do not decorate with lots of decorations. We have a wreath on the door, a tree, and some small Christmas decorations. Nothing too crazy though!

  290. Alicia Sharp on December 10th, 2009 7:22 pm

Wow! Each day just gets better and better! Yes we LOVE to decorate!! I do the inside and my hubby does the outside! We dont go overboard with it tho. Thanks for all the goodies you are giving away!!

  291. Kris on December 10th, 2009 7:27 pm

  292. Jen D. on December 10th, 2009 7:28 pm

    Sparkly glitter…perfect for the holidays!
Not so much like the Griswolds here. Candles in the windows, wreath on the door and a few lights in some of the shrubs.

  293. Sarah on December 10th, 2009 7:29 pm

We have a few lights and our tree in the window. We don’t go crazy.

  294. justlisa on December 10th, 2009 7:33 pm

It is just amazing that you are going these giveaways!!! Sweet stuff!! Lots and lots of White lights….all over outside!! never can have enough!!

  295. Tina Mayo on December 10th, 2009 7:39 pm

I have a few wreaths on the windows, and a few strands of lights ..just enough I think!!

  296. Barbara on December 10th, 2009 7:51 pm

We have red and white lights and garland over the railing. The garland used to have PINK candles hung from it when I had all white lights. Then we moved and the style did not match the new house. So the candles are red now and the PINK ones are on a small Xmas tree in our granddaughters room.

  297. Denise on December 10th, 2009 7:54 pm

Just colored lights on our two pine trees…. they are beautiful…. most decorations are inside the house!

  298. Carla Hagen on December 10th, 2009 7:57 pm

Pixee stix!!!!! Their really is a Santa Clause!

  299. Etta Thomas on December 10th, 2009 8:02 pm

We do decorate outside, but tasefully done, I hope. It’s just like anything else that you enjoy doing…when is enough, enough??? This is the toughest question yet!

  300. Marsha LL on December 10th, 2009 8:04 pm

We put up clear, old-fashioned globe lights on the the front & back porches. LOVE this giveaway!

  301. Carissa on December 10th, 2009 8:11 pm

Just a few strands of lights and a wreath on the door for some sparkle and bling.

  302. Kristin Ristic on December 10th, 2009 8:13 pm

Not so Much..More of a country bumpkin decorator…Garland and white lights and rustic Christmas stuff…with all the Snow makes it looks even better..LOL! Love Christmas!!!!

  303. Claude on December 10th, 2009 8:18 pm

I love to decorate outside, but we don’t go overboard. Simple lights, an inflatable penguin Santa ad a wreath.

  304. Kay on December 10th, 2009 8:19 pm

I live in a NYC high rise apartment so no front yard for us. However, there are trees that line our sidewalk and each one is filled with clear/white lights. It’s so pretty! We also have a huge gorgeous tree in our lobby that greets us each time we come home. We will be getting our own fresh tree for our apartment this weekend. Fun!!

  305. vikki on December 10th, 2009 8:30 pm

You’d think with an electrician for a hubby we’d have the light show of light shows. But no our home is dismally dark come Xmas eve! Maybe some Paislee glitter will brighten our lives. ;-)

  306. lorena b. on December 10th, 2009 8:38 pm

I love the Griswold’s! I wish i could decorate like them but alas, no. Outside wreath on the door. On the inside all my trees are artificial. I have a big fake tree in the living room, a small tree in the kitchen, my daughters room (I’ve put one there since she was a baby), one in her bathroom, and a medium size pink one where ever it might fit. Oh, and the fireplace mantel is decorated with the cutest little mechanical Disney Mickey little thing (they pop out like on a cookoo clock & sing). I guess I have a crazy mix of decor LOL

  307. Jennifer Larson on December 10th, 2009 8:41 pm

It’s below zero now, which is why we’re not outside putting lights up.

  308. Amanda D. on December 10th, 2009 8:43 pm

Our town house is lit up. :) We put lights every where we could reach. LOL

  309. jen on December 10th, 2009 8:45 pm

I’m not Griswold-esque … but I do have a few decorations! A tree, a winter village, lights outside. Love this time of year!

  310. Gwen L. on December 10th, 2009 8:46 pm

    Oooh, glitter!

I don’t decorate on the outside… it’s not allowed in my complex (scrooge!) but I grew up with lights on the outside (tasteful, of course!) and the inside of my house now is very well decorated :) I love Christmas decorations and it shows!

  311. dee dee on December 10th, 2009 8:48 pm

This wait is killing me. Must be how my 4 year old feels waiting for Christmas. :) We haven’t quite reached Griswold status with our outdoor decorations, but hope to eventually!

  312. Lindzie H on December 10th, 2009 8:48 pm

We are not like the Griswalds…although I’ve always wanted to decorate like that!

  313. Christine Hatchell on December 10th, 2009 8:48 pm

    I Love PIXEE STIX glitter!!!
I wanted so bad to “deck the halls” this year outside… but I had surgery and couldn’t. But with the help of my mom and husband… the inside is pretty cheery! I am still working on my husband to get him to hang the wreaths at least…. :)

  314. Cookie Aguilar on December 10th, 2009 8:49 pm

Back in manila, we use to decorate the windows of our house with garland with christmas lights.
I just jove decorating.. right now, here in a new country, im sot sure if we can do that hihih… have to ask around first.
i can really smell christmas!!! its so near!!
    merry christmas to all!

  315. Jolaine Frias on December 10th, 2009 8:57 pm

I love to decorate my front lawn but we keep it on the not too much side, icicles, garlands and a huge wreath on the door. We also have lit up entryway christmas trees. For the lawn, we have a lighting snowman and present.

  316. Coraline on December 10th, 2009 9:00 pm

We don´t decorate the outside of the house, we keep it very simple.

Thanks 4 the chance to win!

  317. bianca on December 10th, 2009 9:03 pm

It’s because of the Griswolds that we don’t go overboard! hahaha. We like SIMPLE…just la few lights on the house. Thanks again for the chance!

  318. AmyR on December 10th, 2009 9:10 pm

    Definitely NOT the Griswold’s!

  319. milkcan on December 10th, 2009 9:12 pm

Sadly, we are not decorators. No holiday flair for us!

  320. Sharon on December 10th, 2009 9:16 pm

We do some decorations outside and inside, but not alot.

  321. christina on December 10th, 2009 9:20 pm

My mother bought me garland and bows when she last visited so I *had* to put them up, but otherwise my husband and I do no outdoor decorations to speak of at our home…no lights, no nothing.

  322. Kathy on December 10th, 2009 9:20 pm

The tubes of glitter are so adorable. I’ve never seen them in person, so I’d love to have a prize pack with these!

  323. jeanie nieva on December 10th, 2009 9:24 pm

we haven’t put up any decorations yet…too busy with our wedding preps….:)

  324. Windy Robinson on December 10th, 2009 9:29 pm

No lights for us… hubby is waiting for the kiddos to be old enough for to ask for them… then we’ll get all decked out:)

  325. Amy M. on December 10th, 2009 9:33 pm

I like watching the movie Christmas Vacation, but I like keeping things simple outside decorating the front door and maybe a few lights outside.

  326. Mary Valenta on December 10th, 2009 9:36 pm

Are you kidding? We just spent 4 hours decorating just the outside of our house last Saturday. Yes, my husband IS Clark Griswald (except he gets all of our lights to work). He also built a custom frame so an 8 ft. light up santa could sit upon our roof. Very fun and all the neighbors love to look at it. Merry Christmas (and lights) to all! Great gifts to win…

  327. Garsy on December 10th, 2009 9:36 pm

We do some years - not as extreme as the Griswold’s but lights on the house and around windows and such. This year we didn’t put any lights up outside and let our neighbors go all out crazy. One crazy family in the neighborhood is enough!

    Now inside is another story!

  328. Karen Keiper on December 10th, 2009 9:37 pm

Chriatmas lights not so much but i love decorating inside so when you walk in youknow its christmas.

  329. Rhonda Miller on December 10th, 2009 9:39 pm

I would love to decorate the outside of our house like Clark Griswold, but have not done so in the past. I have tons of decorations, but not many places to put them, especially with little hands around to grab them. I think it would be fun though and the kids love it.

  330. Cass on December 10th, 2009 9:42 pm

No, we don’t have lots of outdoor lights. We love to decorate the inside with tinsel and pretty decorations and lots of chocolates. :)

  331. Jenn on December 10th, 2009 9:43 pm

definitely outdoor lights…not quite as elaborate as the Griswold’s but pretty nonetheless :)

  332. Becky G. on December 10th, 2009 9:49 pm

Ooooooh, glitter! I’ve kind of gone crazy with glitter this year, so it would be great to stock back up again!

No, we do very modest, simple decorations outside. Inside is different, though, and we have a lot of pretty decorations in here.

  333. Tiffany Heilman on December 10th, 2009 9:50 pm

This prize package keeps keep gettin’ better and better.

  334. Olivia on December 10th, 2009 9:51 pm

Egads, pixie sticks! I’m drooling :) I definitely love lots of decorations, inside and out! My favorite thing to do is drive around and look at all the lights and nativity scenes!

  335. Christine Schmidt on December 10th, 2009 9:54 pm

MY husband use to decorate the outside with lots of lights but was not able to do it last year or this year since he had total hip replacement surgery on both sides (fear of ladders now). He does however still make the “tree shape” with lights using the flag pole down by the lake. It looks so pretty all lit up! The kids just love it!!!

  336. Rita Timmons on December 10th, 2009 9:55 pm

we try to put up at least lights outside on the house… but so far it’s been to cold outside. Hopefully I’ll get them up this weekend! we do take a hayride around our neighborhood to look at all of the chirstimas lights!

  337. ~SugarJen on December 10th, 2009 10:01 pm

Glitter, Yum! I like sparkly things, even my house. We aren’t Griswolds, but we do have a few lit wreaths and garlands outside.

  338. Deanette on December 10th, 2009 10:05 pm

Last year we did a lot of decorating for Christmas, lights around the house, and lots of stuff set up inside. This year it seems we just won’t get to it. We don’t even have our tree up yet!

  339. Julie Howard on December 10th, 2009 10:07 pm

Most of our decorating for the holidays is inside. The only thing I have outside is a simple wreath hanging on the front door and a holiday welcome mat. The only similarities between myself and Clark Griswold is the fact that I’m also a proud recipient of the Jam of the Month club.

  340. sarah moore on December 10th, 2009 10:10 pm

OMG It just gets better!! Love it all…………….although we don’t put up many lights…..DH insists that we all have to sit down and watch Christmas Vacation……LOL I love it (although I won’t admit that to DH) my favourite bit is the cat wrapped in thebox!!! LOL

  341. Sherry Steveson on December 10th, 2009 10:11 pm

I used to light up the house but we haven’t for a couple of years. I really miss pulling up to a lit up house. Think we need to start that tradition again.

  342. Jan on December 10th, 2009 10:13 pm

We don’t decorate too much on the outside (it’s too cold here!) but I sure make up for it on the inside! Love the glitter!

  343. Danielle on December 10th, 2009 10:16 pm

We live in an apt so we don’t do any outside lights but we do lots of decorations for our 2 year old and our two foster kids! They eat it up! Dorky lights all crooked in the window… a thrill for 2-2 year olds! ( :

  344. Jackie Lang on December 10th, 2009 10:16 pm

We do some icicle lights around the porch eaves and garland around the door and lighted reindoor that our dog loves to bark at through the whole holiday season.

  345. ernestine on December 10th, 2009 10:16 pm

Love the stamps….great line…can’t wait to see if i get it for christmas..

  346. Amber Scurlock on December 10th, 2009 10:17 pm

    Loooove me some glitter!!!! =D

  347. quietangelsb on December 10th, 2009 10:19 pm

    Love all that glitter!!

  348. audrey on December 10th, 2009 10:19 pm

Luv the glitter! No I don’t decorate the outside of the house, only the tree. However, I do like looking at houses who do.

  349. Anette Rowzee on December 10th, 2009 10:20 pm

Hi, we do simple outside lights but very pretty.

  350. Jennifer on December 10th, 2009 10:27 pm

    I’m just giddy… I love this stuff!

  351. Breann on December 10th, 2009 10:38 pm

yes, outdoor decorating is a must, but not quite the griswold’s!! a little sad this year after selling our house and moving into a duplex that really isn’t suited for outdoor decor…meaning my husband might have a serious accident trying to get lights on this place…so we will just stick to our tree this year. :)

  352. Lariza Weems on December 10th, 2009 10:44 pm

No Griswold decorating here…we like simple, tasteful and pretty. I would LOVE to win!!!

  353. Renee on December 10th, 2009 10:46 pm

We decorate inside…minimal outside…just some lights.

  354. Melissa Sauls on December 10th, 2009 10:47 pm

Oh we definitely put the lights up every year! That’s one of the funnest parts of Christmas is to see the children light up “literally” that their house is nice and bright so Santa won’t miss it! :)

  355. Melissa Sauls on December 10th, 2009 10:49 pm

Oh definitely so! The house HAS to be lit up so that Santa can see it and drop off lots of presents!! :)

  356. Michelle Shaw on December 10th, 2009 10:50 pm

oh my gosh I have got to try that glitter ! all that glitters is good!

  357. Sindy on December 10th, 2009 10:58 pm

I decorated the door and the pots outside my house! I would like to add a sprinkle of glitters to everything!!!

  358. Melanie C on December 10th, 2009 11:01 pm

No outdoor lights for us….I’m hoping hubby will put them up next year!

  359. Mindy on December 10th, 2009 11:07 pm

we put up just a few lights on our porch and two little trees with lights. Inside we have our tree and then a pick and choose a few things to put out. I don’t put out everything I have because it’s not up for long and then you have to put it away again. It’s fun to change it up and use different stuff each year.

  360. Melanie on December 10th, 2009 11:08 pm

We’d like to decorate but we are really no good at the outside decorations. They end up being covered with a snow bank, blowing away or blowing a fuse. So we don’t have too many.
Thanks for the chance to win - the 13th is my birthday so I’m feeling lucky!

    Melanie O

  361. carol on December 10th, 2009 11:11 pm

i’d love to have lots of outdoor lights and stuff, but it seems more often than not my husband is injured come Christmas time and it can’t be done (hmmmmm… i wonder if he plans it that way??) I did try one year to put them up, and I fell off the ladder!!!! and the lights fell down! I haven’t tried since ;)

  362. Suzzi Gunn on December 10th, 2009 11:30 pm

A clean kitchen. Best gift ever!

    Merry Christmas every one!

  363. Katie K. on December 10th, 2009 11:40 pm

    I love all that glitter!!!

We don’t go overboard we do outside lights and inside just what we put on the tree. We keep it pretty simple!

  364. Ginny on December 10th, 2009 11:48 pm

No we don’t, electric bill is too high. Wish we did though, love looking at the lights & my 8 year old gets upset about our house not sparkling.

  365. Laura on December 10th, 2009 11:49 pm

We have lights on an exterior shrub and around the garage . . . but nothing like Clark Griswold’s power-sucking vision. ha, ha My husband loves that movie.

  366. patti on December 10th, 2009 11:56 pm

nooooooooooooo we just do icicle lights, but the inside of our house is decked out :)

  367. Jennifer Alfonso on December 10th, 2009 11:57 pm

no not at all!!! ha ha ha! I LOVE that movie!

  368. Christine on December 11th, 2009 12:02 am

Pixie sticks are a must have!!! Wow, Santa’s bag must be getting heavy! We have some lights on the outside of the house and shrubs. Not as many as I would like though. Our roof is so high and steep that it is impossible to get up there to hang them.
    xoxo, Christine

  369. Cynthia B. on December 11th, 2009 12:06 am

Nope. Not like the Griswolds. Although I wouldn’t mind lighting up the night (literally), my hubby would be the one stringing the lights…and let’s just say he’s not into ladders.
Thanks for another chance to win! Ya’ll are awesome. :)

  370. SandraL. on December 11th, 2009 12:12 am

Not at all like the Griswolds. Unfortunately the hubby doesn’t like putting up outside lights :(
But thats okay because I light it up inside :)

  371. Donna on December 11th, 2009 12:19 am

we add just a few outside decorations but we have Christmas trees in most of the rooms inside.

    LOVE THE GLITTER!!!!

  372. Kota Venter on December 11th, 2009 12:52 am

    Wow!
    No decorations on my house.

  373. Karen on December 11th, 2009 12:53 am

We don’t do a lot outdoors, Just the front porch and Wreaths around the garage lights. The inside of our home however, is a different story. We have 2 or 3 trees and some kind of decor in every room. I stick to more a more elegant style, although this year I have and grandson so we will have some toddler friendly decorations.

  374. Abby V on December 11th, 2009 12:55 am

I want to, but the hubby doesn’t want to. HAHA So unfortunately we only have lights on the Christmas tree!

  375. Brenda Lubrant on December 11th, 2009 1:09 am

I have always decorated the outside of my house with white lights. I put them on the house and on all of my evergreens in the front yards. I have a few reindeers and a couple of snowmen. I like the way it usually turns out. I just love lights at Christmas.

  376. Roberta on December 11th, 2009 1:30 am

We dont decorate like the Griswolds, just tastefully, but probably seem that way to the neighbors. Almost noone around here is lit up. There’s some very old neighbors that probably can’t physically do it and next door is a young guy who is never home. We laugh that our house is glowing away while everyone else is dark.

Loving today’s addition! I have one pixie stick but sure would enjoy 10!

  377. Julie L. on December 11th, 2009 1:36 am

Yep, that’s hubby’s job. My job is to nag him to do it so we’re not the last on the block.

  378. emmy on December 11th, 2009 1:41 am

    yumyumyum!!!!
no decorations outside, I live in an apartement and I guess I could decorate the balcony.. But I spent my money on decorating the inside this year!
If I had a house I would put some lights in a tree and maybe something more.. But I would never overdo it :)

  379. Amy Oxford on December 11th, 2009 1:49 am

Love the glitter! We aren’t the type of family that lights up the whole house…err…let me correct that, my HUSBAND isn’t the type to do that! :) We have a few light up yard figures, a wreath, and misc other holiday deco, but that’s it!

  380. Bethany C. on December 11th, 2009 1:54 am

Love, love, love those Pixee Stix! We usually put up some lights outside, just so we’re not the bah humbug house…but they’re a little more subtle than Clark’s lights! :)

  381. Jessica A on December 11th, 2009 2:13 am

We live in an apartment so no outside lights for us. But someday I am sure I (meaning the husband) will be putting up plenty of lights. But hopefully not with a staple gun like Clark Griswold!

  382. Jacqueline on December 11th, 2009 2:48 am

No decorations outside as of yet, but I love to decorate inside. This year’s color scheme for my mini trees and wreaths is green and purple - I saw this color combo at the craft store and had to incorporate it into my own home. I would love to have some lights outside, but it’s just too cold to get out there and put them up!

  383. Lynn R on December 11th, 2009 2:54 am

Never get around to decorating outside. There is soo much to do just to get all the inside decorating done. I would like to decorate outside though, but tastefully, ya know? lol However, I do love to drive by those houses with a million lights!

The goodies today are even more awesome with the addition of the glitter, btw! Not to mention, that’s a very generous amount of glitter. I really NEED to win this! : )

  384. kim smart on December 11th, 2009 2:59 am

well, almost like the griswold’s!! lol….not really but we do have our fair share of christmas lights in the yard! gotta love the twinkling lights.

  385. katrina h on December 11th, 2009 3:13 am

dh never gets around to decorating the outside of our house.

  386. Heidi on December 11th, 2009 3:20 am

We live in an apartmentbuilding, so we can´t decorate…but maybe some day…!

  387. Gabriela Duve on December 11th, 2009 3:25 am

I fear I have missed the right time to answere today. It’s so confusing with the time-differece.

But I want to commend in spite of that:

No, we don’t light up the outside. We only decorate the inside of the house. Maybe it’s the difference between the american and the north-german mentality. Only some people here put lights to their trees in the garden.

  388. Rean C on December 11th, 2009 3:36 am

I used to live in an apartment so I can decorate only the inside of my apartment, but I just bought a house! So be sure I will put lights around the trees in the garden.

  389. Ron Chua on December 11th, 2009 3:39 am

I love glitter! Haha..I don’t light up outside, had a bad experience cos a short nearly caused a fire once. But it sure is bright and colorful inside.

  390. Christelle on December 11th, 2009 3:39 am

No exterior decoration, we live on the 7th floor!

  391. Linda on December 11th, 2009 3:40 am

No outside lights for us, it has only really become a big thing here (West Aus) in the last 5 years or so. Nearly half way there, thanks for the chance to win.

  392. Corinne on December 11th, 2009 4:40 am

We don’t decorate the outside - but I tend to put lights around the sitting room window.

  393. Laura on December 11th, 2009 5:08 am

no we don’t really decorate the outside.

  394. Malin on December 11th, 2009 6:06 am

    Gorgeous stuff!

We live in Sweden and it´s becoming more and more popular to decorate the outside or a tree with lights. Santas on the roof is not very common here. But since the winter is quite dark, some lights tend to brighten up your day!

  395. lynnef on December 11th, 2009 6:28 am

    Yippie Yahoo….lovin todays addons!!!

  396. Maureen on December 11th, 2009 6:41 am

We decorate both insided and outside with lights, pine and berries, enough to be beautiful but not overdone.

  397. MelissaW on December 11th, 2009 6:45 am

We’ve been one extreme to another, depending on how we felt that year. There are Christmases where we barely put up a tree and others where every square inch of our house was covered in something Christmas-y. This year, we have a moderate amount of decorations - a tree, lights outside, and my scrap room is absolutely brimming with Christmas spirit! :)

  398. linda trapp on December 11th, 2009 7:08 am

we do a very simple lit up outside… only lights in the garland around the front door. very pretty.

    linda t :0)

  399. ana manzana on December 11th, 2009 7:12 am

No outdoor lights, everything inside :)

    thanks for the chance!!!

  400. kristina p on December 11th, 2009 7:45 am

we only hang a lantern (we call it parol in the philippines) outside of our home but we keep a plastic christmas tree inside with lots of lights and decors. :)

  401. Cathy K. on December 11th, 2009 8:03 am

Oh my, 10 tubes of glitter to the mix? Fabulous!!

  402. Monica B. on December 11th, 2009 8:25 am

our condo is pretty tiny–but some how i still manage to put up hundreds of lights! on the tree, in the window… i love the sight of little white lights.

does anyone else use the “squint trick” to see if there are any “holes” in lights on your tree???

  403. Leah on December 11th, 2009 8:31 am

No we do not decorate the outside of our house but I think that next year might be a little different. Our 4 year daughter is very upset that everyone else has lights on there house except us.

Thanks for yet another day of great gifts!

  404. sodapach on December 11th, 2009 8:34 am

Just a string of white icicle lights along our roof line. Tastefully Griswaldish!

  405. Michele K on December 11th, 2009 8:35 am

We do decorate the outside of our house, but not Griswold style and we have several trees decorated inside!

  406. Sarah on December 11th, 2009 8:41 am

We decorate our farmer’s porch and that’s just about it. I don’t like too many decorations.

  407. Erin on December 11th, 2009 8:45 am

I married the Grinch! I am terrifed of heights so no lights for me! I do have the inside of my house decorated up. Not as much as usual, I have a 2 year old and a new baby.

  408. ctrimble on December 11th, 2009 8:59 am

Of course we decorate the outside of our home (just like our parents did)! We have tons of lights! Love them!

  409. Elizabeth P on December 11th, 2009 9:00 am

nope…not a single light on the outside. It’s too cold to go out there and decorate. I have the inside done. :D

  410. rhonda nickol on December 11th, 2009 9:19 am

We decorate in very country theme, everyone says my home looks like it come from a country magazine.

  411. Heather on December 11th, 2009 9:23 am

I am a decorating minimalist! It’s all about family - not stuff!
