Our very first Live Pink! magazine is NOW AVAILABLE for download! After a full year of planning and 3 months of development we have finally brought our vision to life.
You might be asking yourself what this magazine is all about and the truth is we are doing it for pure fun! I love the joy of getting a shiny new magazine in my hands and this one was no different. Our new lifestyle magazine is full of feature articles, contest announcements, never before seen projects from our designers and other fun product tips. We will be publishing this mini magazine (e-zine I guess you could call it) four times a year. Make sure you are on our email newsletter list to get instant notifications when the next issue hits.
A HUGE thank you to Crystal Jeffrey Rieger for spear heading the project and for delivering such a fabulous written publication. The team did a fabulous job with their assignments and all together they have created an amazing issue that is completely FREE for our fans.

Sneak Peek Week Starts 7/20!

If you don’t already know Pink Paislee releases new products twice a year in conjunction with the Craft & Hobby Show schedule. This means we develop over 100 products for the craft and hobby market in a 12 month period. The funny thing is we always have more product ideas than we can physically develop so it is never a boring job!! The next CHA show is July 28th and that means we will reveal four new collections to retail store owners in just a few weeks.
Today I am going to give you an itsy bitsy sneak peek of the collections we have developed for the remainder of 2009 along with the collection names! We have been working on these collections for months and we have some pretty exciting changes in store for our “pink” fans. You will want to jot down July 20th on your calendar because that is the date we will begin sneak peek week here on our blog and of course we will have lots of “win it before you can buy it” opportunities for our faithful blog readers! We will show you actual photos of the products along with lots of fabulous projects from our team.

Pretty In Pink {Member Spotlight}

I have spotted the most gorgeous creation in our Live Pink gallery this morning! Anabelle O’Malley uploaded this incredible, vintage inspired gift set that has me drooling for more. Anabelle used our Enchanting Press ons, our Enchanting sticker book and a few Enchanting chipboard elements to create this beautiful set and I am in awe of the results. Those mini roses in the butterfly centers are just to delightful!

C’mon Get Hoppy {Blog Hoppy That Is}

Spring is arriving fast and we are gearing up for our very first Blog Hop Event for 2009! We will have full details as the date gets closer but we wanted to make sure you marked down April 3rd and 4th on your calendars! You will want to visit our blog on Friday the 3rd for full details on how you can participate in the Pink Paislee Blog Hop for a chance to win 15 separate prize packs. Yes I said 15 prize packs.

Sweets For Your Sweets!

I love Valentine’s Day! It’s one of my favorite days of the year, so each year at this time I have fun putting together little treat bags and such for the special ones in my life! Here I’ve created a hanging heart to hold some candy words that I made.
To create this heart, you’ll need 2 pieces of the Sweet paper from the Enchanting line. I cut a large heart from a piece of white paper and then traced it onto the back of my Sweet paper, made 2 of these and then I stitched them together with my sewing machine sandwiching some pink ric rac in between. You can temporarily adhere these layers together, so they will stay together while sewing. Be sure to leave the top open and not stitch it closed.
Next, I punched 2 holes in the heart, one on each side to tie a ribbon for hanging. Just pull the ribbon through to the front and tie a bow on one side and knot the other end. I added a chipboard piece and rub on saying (”delightful”) from the Enchanting line also. Then stuff the heart with shredded paper and candies!
To create the candy words, I found a plastic mold tray at AC Moore. All you do is melt white chocolate or Almond Bark, add a bit of pink food coloring and pour the melted candy into the tray. Put the tray into the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to harden the candy words, then pop them out and wrap them with clear cellophane!
