Friday’s Fan Favorites

Posted on March 4, 2010

It’s the first Friday in March and I am bringing to you several projects that caught my eye in the Live Pink gallery.

This layout was made by Juliana.  The stitching around the edges along with the sewing along the pleated paper are amazing.  What a great touch!  I also think the use of the tags are great;  journaling, title, and embellishments behind the pictures.

Suzanne S. is the creator of this layout featuring the Cupid line.  I noticed a lot of this line used in the gallery!  The little scalloped edges of the large scallop borders add some sweet details to the design.  I also like how it breaks up the red and black papers.  The brown and white ribbon tie everything off beautifully!

The orange polka dot paper against the black scalloped paper is so eye catching.  Leigh Penner recently uploaded this Halloween layout into the Live Pink gallery.  She also leaves a little touch of whimsy here and there with her use of embellishments;  the stamping, the chipboard button, and the brad.

I am really looking forward to the new product arriving in the hands of our fans…just be sure to post your creations in the Live Pink gallery, we love inspiration!!  New projects are being uploaded everyday so make sure to visit the gallery often.  And if you love the projects you see here click on their names to visit their Live Pink pages.

Thank you for sharing your work with Live Pink gallery everyone!

Take 5 Friday - Birthday Cards

Posted on February 26, 2010

Hello, it’s Danielle here with another Take 5 Friday! On Fridays, we are challenged to only use 5 products to create something. I love the fun colors in the new 365 Degrees line and think of birthdays when I see these colors, so I decided to make a little set of colorful birthday cards.

I used:

1. 6×6 Paper Pad (perfect for card makers!) from the 365 line

2. Cork Buttons

3. Flip Notes

4. Bella Brads

5. Expressions Glitter Alphabet - Berry Blue

The cork buttons are so versatile! For birthday cards, you can use them as polkadots as I did on the first card or little birthday balloons like the second card!

‘Take Five’ Friday’s

Posted on February 5, 2010

At least once a week I like to take my time and admire the gallery at Live Pink.  There is so much inspiration just bursting at the seams there! This year we are going to enjoy ‘take five’ fridays once a month here on the blog so I can share five layouts/projects that really caught my eye.  I’m sure you will enjoy these just as much as I did.

Layout #1:

This layout was designed by helpmeronda.  I adore the patterned paper peeking from underneath the blue paper.  Do you see it under the distressing?  The little pictures, shabby lacey ribbon, and cool stitching are perfect additions to this amazing layout.

Layout #2:

This adorable layout was designed by Lady Grace Belarmino. I’m not sure if the grid on the background was made by a stamp…I really like it!  The three circles in the upper-left hand corner balance this layout perfectly.

Layout #3:

This layout was designed by CamillaE.  I love how she took this fallish line and made it very general and masculine.  Even with the flowers, blling, and lace punch it still seems very fitting. I’d love to do a similar layout with this line :)

Layout #4:

The cool tones in this layout from Rita Barakat make me happy.  The delicate hand cutting had to take a really long time…but it is totally worth it.  Look how cute this is!

Layout #5:

Last, but certainly not least, is the layout from Kim Arnold.  I am just getting back into using my glimmer mists.  Seeing what Kim did with her’s makes me want to go into my scrapbook room right now and bust them out!  It adds a very rustic touch to the layout, along with the twine and canvas flower.

I have included the links to these artists in case you would like to go back and save them as a favorite.  Just click on their Live Pink screen names!  Thank you for inspiring us with your work.

If you would like the opportunity to see your projects featured here on our ‘Take Five Friday’ be sure to upload all your Pink Paislee work in the Live Pink gallery :)

Happy Friday all!

New Pink Sightings This Month!

Posted on November 30, 2009

Before we jump into our 12 days of christmas cheer tomorrow I thought I should hop over here and tell you about a few kit club sightings we have discovered over the past couple of weeks. Ya’ll know we love seeing our products mixed into kits.  I am always amazed at how well a little bit of “pink paislee” can jazz up a kit ;-)  - Yes we are partial to our own products just a wee bit…LOL!

(I need to apologize to both of these kit club owners in advance for “clumping” them into 1 blog post.)  Unfortunately, our blog schedule is booked everyday in December so if I don’t mention these kits today I am afraid we won’t get the word out at all.

First we want to make sure you know about this month’s kit over at Dandelion Pages.  This is a local Missouri kit club and the owner is so very talented!  She has tips on her site and has also just “revamped” her entire website along with her company name.  This month they are featuring our Mistletoe & Co. products in their kit aptly named Winter Wonder.

Here is a peek of the kit. Be sure to click HERE to view the samples from the team!

Next we found a kit club in Australia called Shop And Crop.com that has another gorgeous winter themed kit featuring Mistletoe & Co.  We love our Aussie friends and if you live down under then this is the kit for you!

Here are some examples from the kit!

Thanks to both of these kit owners for including a little bit of Pink Paislee in their kits this month!
